Hi, I'm Erin

The designer behind the scenes

I’m a designer, writer, typography lover, coffee enthusiast, and mother of two based in central New Hampshire. It’s my mission to craft unique, purposeful, and engaging creative solutions for my clients, no matter the medium. I know the power of good storytelling, and I aim to bring those skills to every project I touch.

My background

Timeline at a glance

Design has always been a passion of mine. In eighth grade, I taught myself HTML and started learning everything I could about the then-emerging “World Wide Web.” After high school, I attended the Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York, where I received a BFA in New Media Design and Imaging.

Upon graduation, I moved to Boston, where I worked as a web designer and art director for several design agencies. During this time I was involved in all aspects of the design process, from concepting and ideation, through wireframing and final design. I had the privilege of designing mobile and web experiences for brands such as Kashi, Royal Caribbean, ESPN, and Nickelodeon, to name a few.

Eventually, I put web design on temporary hold to pursue writing—another passion, and my minor in college. While working as a published author, I started my freelance design business, tackling branding projects, print pieces, and other promotional materials for authors and bookish brands.

In more recent years, I’ve shifted my focus to branding and identity design. Though I still take on work outside this space, identity design is my favorite type of project. It is incredibly exciting (not to mention rewarding) to help a client uncover the core values of their business and translate that personality into a stunning visual identity for their brand. I can’t imagine a more creatively fulfilling job.
